What problems should be paid attention to when installing electric locks?
At present, there are several types of electric locks on the market: bolt locks, magnetic locks, strike locks, electric control locks (silent locks, spiritual locks), etc., generally, I personally hope to divide these electric locks into two categories: 1. Power-on locks (such as bolt locks, magnetic locks, NO-type strike locks) 2. Power-off locks (such as electric control locks, NC-type strike locks, Type cathode lock, silent lock, spiritual lock), the two types of electric locks are exactly opposite when they work, the first type will lock the door when power is supplied, and the second type will open the door when power is supplied.
Let us understand the voltage and current of the electric lock:
1.Most bolt locks: DC12V working voltage. Locking instant current: 0.6-1A current. Working current: 0.3-0.6A current.
2.Most magnetic locks: DC12V working voltage. Instant current when locked: 0.3-0.6A current. Working current: 0.3-0.6A current.
3.Most strike locks: DC12V working voltage. Locking instant current: 0.2-0.6A current. Working current: 0.2-0.6A current.
4.Most electric control locks: DC12V working voltage. Instantaneous current when locked: 1-2A current. Working current: 1-2A current.
When installing electric locks, you should pay attention to problems:
1.It is recommended to use a two-core power cord with a cross-sectional area of 1.0 square millimeter or more. If it exceeds 50 meters, consider using a thicker wire, or multiple strands in parallel, the maximum length should not exceed 100 meters.
2.The electric lock of electric control lock type should adjust the door opening delay to less than 1 second. (Excessive delay time will cause the electric control lock to heat up or burn out)
3.Pay attention to the different wiring of various electric locks to avoid incorrect work caused by the wrong connection of NC and NO.
4.Electric locks are weak due to long lines or insufficient power supply.
5.Individual electric locks have positive and negative requirements, please check the product manual to connect the wires.
